We envision a world where peace and harmony are core life experiences, where individuals see differences as opportunities for new perspectives, and where songs inspire us to proclaim our rights, live into our hopes, build community, and galvanize resistance to injustice, greed, and tyranny.

in the face of injustice.
We believe the creative act, in and of itself, is an expression of activism and defiance.
All humans are deserving of a peaceful, creative, productive life, lived in serenity and in the presence of love.
Every life is valuable and deserving of peace, self-exploration, self-expression, and the opportunity to mature into a deeper, richer, human being with more
to offer humanity.
We see the danger posed by the empowerment of weak and fearful minds, seduced by money and power.
We oppose the gross hoarding of resources and wealth in the face of human starvation.
We oppose the perversion and destruction of democratic principles and structures.
We bond as we help each other overcome adversity.
We oppose the development of technological instruments that weaken the economic platform for the dissemination of human music.
We oppose the corporate ownership of music distribution platforms by interests whose allegiance is to shareholders and corporate executives.
Protecting democracy requires constant, consistent action. The protest song is always needed. Fascist regimes label artists, scholars, and intellectuals as enemies of the state. This is no accident.
